Welcome to Evans Shepherds! We aim to produce high quality, true to standard German Shepherd Dogs. We have a passion for the German Shepherd Dog breed, & strive to produce amazing working, family, service, & companion dogs. We offer a variety of coats, colors, & work-ability. In order to showcase the versatility of our dogs & the breed, we strive to title of our breeding stock. We participate actively in USCA & GSDCA events as well as Search & Rescue, & will be active in IPO training.
Jessie Evans & husband Chris have owned German Shepherd Dogs since 2006. We enjoy Search & Rescue training, working our dogs regularly, & of course breeding. Our dogs are bred for health & temperaments. Our dogs & pups are raised with children, other household pets, & livestock. We aim to produce well-socialized dogs for working, service, & companionship. |

*All of our dogs have been tested for the Degenerative Myelopathy gene; or are DM clear through parentage.
**We use our best discretion in regards to hip and elbow dysplasia. We use OFA or PennHip evaluations to help us determine whether or not to use particular dogs in our program. Although dysplasia can be both hereditary and environmentally caused, we try to err on the side of caution by using OFA or PennHip as a tool to consider when choosing our breeding dogs. Because dysplasia can also be caused by environmental factors, we are unable to guarantee against hip or elbow dysplasia. |
